Turn one defined workflow into a working AI system.

A 4-to-8-week pilot for a known process, a named business owner, and a small user group. HAWT builds the narrow system, tests it with real work, and leaves you with evidence for the next decision.

A pilot with a finish line.

The engagement proves or disproves one workflow before the organization commits to a broader system or rollout.

How the pilot runs.

The build stays narrow enough to inspect. Each phase produces evidence the next phase depends on.

01

Define the test

Confirm users, inputs, outputs, system access, exceptions, review points, and what would count as a useful result.

02

Build the narrow system

Create the smallest assistant, integration, interface, document tool, dashboard, or application that can run the workflow.

03

Use real work

Run representative examples and known failure cases, then record corrections, missing context, review time, and user friction.

04

Make the next decision

Document what worked, what failed, who would own it, and whether the organization should stop, revise, or scale.

The pilot has to answer more than “does it run?”

A technically working demo can still create too much review, miss the hard cases, or fail to fit normal team behavior.

Usefulness

Does the output help the owner reach the required business result?

Failure behavior

What happens when inputs are incomplete, unusual, sensitive, or outside the expected pattern?

Review burden

How much checking and correction remains, and is that burden reasonable for the task?

Operating fit

Can the people, systems, permissions, and approval process support it during normal work?

The system takes the form the workflow needs.

HAWT does not begin with a preferred platform. The interface and technical approach follow the users, information, and decisions already defined.

Internal assistant

A focused interface grounded in approved company information, with visible sources and review requirements.

Document or knowledge tool

Search, compare, extract, organize, and prepare work from the files a team already depends on.

Integration or workflow interface

Move information between existing systems and guide work through defined steps, owners, checks, and exceptions.

Internal application

A custom operational tool, dashboard, or product interface when off-the-shelf software cannot support the process.

Product work behind the method.

The pilot structure comes from shipping real systems: defining behavior, directing AI development agents, integrating platforms, testing connected flows, and deciding what is ready to release.

Pilot questions.

What needs to be known before a pilot starts?

The current workflow, intended users, business owner, available information, required output, and obvious constraints must be clear enough to define a test. A Workflow Decision Sprint can establish those terms when they are still unsettled.

Can the pilot connect to software we already use?

Often. HAWT confirms API access, authentication, permissions, data ownership, and usage limits before promising an integration.

Can a successful pilot become a production application?

Yes, when the evidence supports it. Production work is scoped separately around the confirmed requirements, security needs, integrations, operating owner, and expected scale.

What if the pilot shows that AI is the wrong approach?

That is a useful result. The decision record will explain why the workflow should stop, remain manual, use conventional automation, or be redesigned before another build.

Bring the workflow, owner, and required result.

HAWT will help determine whether the next useful step is a pilot, a decision sprint, training, or no build at all.
